The Jester: Rachael Barnard
Rachael is the jester. The one who will keep everyone laughing, even when the challenge gets hard. She’ll keep the spirits high, which is every bit as important as any amount of training on the bike that the group do.

- Recreational rider, married to a cycling nut, but mainly an off-roader

The Pacer: Stephanie Scrase
Stephanie is the pacer. The one who is head down, riding at the front, leading the charge. She’s also the mascot because you could just put her in your pocket.

- Dinky French lady whose son works in a French cycling shop in Oxford!

The Diesel: Sarah Gibbs
Sarah is the diesel. She can motor for the duration. She’s not worried about how fast she’s going. She just settles in to the work, isn’t afraid to pull everyone when she needs to, and will do what it takes to get the job done for everyone.

- Mother of 3 whose children attend a Bucks school which has chosen Puzzle Centre as their charity of the year 2015
- The most experienced rider of the five
Sarah is the diesel. She can motor for the duration. She’s not worried about how fast she’s going. She just settles in to the work, isn’t afraid to pull everyone when she needs to, and will do what it takes to get the job done for everyone.
The Strong Silent One: Anna Campbell
Anna is the strong silent one. She’ll put her own feelings aside for the benefit of the group, and when you are least expecting it, she’ll come out with a left-field anecdote!
- Highly experienced Speech & Language therapist at Puzzle Centre
- Mother of 3 with bonkers curly hair
- Cycling experience mainly off road and alongside her son on his skateboard!

The Tactician: Natalie Giles
Natalie is the tactician. She’s all sciencey, and for that reason she wants to understand how stuff works, and what might happen. She’ll be the one to explain to the others why something hurts, or why it’s important to make sure you do this one thing to stay fit and strong.
- Osteopath
- Mother of 3 with two moderately deaf daughters
- Limited cycling experience but a runner having completed the London Marathon and Oxford Half
